A Letter to the KM Editor 1st October 2008

On Tuesday 30th, the High Court ruled illegal the government's decision to prevent Gurkhas who retired before 1997 from settling in the UK.
The court gave the government three months in which to rewrite their rules. I have signed a petition at www.gurkhajustice.org.uk calling on the government to allow all Gurkhas, who have fought on behalf of all of us, to be allowed to settle in the UK.
I would encourage all your readers to sign the petition too.
