Barton Shocker as Lib Dems find over 100 problems in one day

During a day of national action, Liberal Democrat activists walked every street in Barton ward identifing every pothole, damaged sign, broken gully and other problems that they found.

Lib Dem campaigner Mike Sole said, "In just one day we identified over 100 large potholes across the ward. The worst areas were Cowdery Place, Warwick Road and Barton Road but hardly any roads had no problems." The Lib Dem team, asssited by students from the University of Kent have reported all of this to Kent Council Council for action.

Mike Sole added, "We also reported broken drainage gullies, missing and broken signs and where white lines needed repainting. Indeed we had so much to report to KCC that their website couldn't handle it!"

Now that the incidents have been reported Mike will be checking make sure that the repairs are carried out.
